Heroin addiction is a serious threat to society. Once the person starts using the drug, the brain’s chemical balance is altered, affecting one’s thinking and behavior. Moreover, as the body becomes tolerated with the drug, the body would require increased dosage to be able to feel the “high”. And so, dependency on the drug happens. And with dependency, the person would continuously be longing for the drug and could not live normally without the drug.This is how an individual develops heroin addiction.
